PRINCIPAL’S MESSAGE

Dr. J. JAMES JAYAPAUL M.A.,M.L.,D.L.A.L., Ph.D.,

I took the full additional charge of Principal on august 22 nd 2022 appointed by our respected
Professor Dr.J. Vijayalakshmi Director of Legal studies.

The college has good ambience of village grace.

Though we are running temporarily in a government school building all the efforts are in progress for shifting to the new building in kuthakottai panchayat. We are providing 3 years LL.B., regular course, 5 years B.A.L.L.B., and LLM in constitutional Law and Administrative law branch.

We are carrying out the process of imparting the legal education for around 500 students. The Assistant Professors and Guest Faculties are striving hard to bring eminent students in law field. Every week we are giving coaching for moot court to participants apart from promoting individual talents of students.

The District and Sessions Judge Ramanathapuram has also graciously permitting our students for court visit thereby the students are getting well-versed in court practices.

Last year during intra-sports meet we are proud to say that our student have won gold medal in javelin throw and shot-put. 23 girl students from our College have receiving scholarship from prestigious “Moovaloor Ramamirtham Ammaiyar Higher Education Assurance Scheme” introducted by Hon’ble Chief minister of Tamil Nadu Thiru.M.K. Stalin.

Our college library facilitates the students to read and cultivate the learning aspects through its various journals and law books.

The Tamil translated copy of High Court judgments is also available in our library We are conducting special lectures often on emerging issues of law to update the knowledge of the students.
